This Sunflower Kit is perfect for scientific flower play! It comes paired with the most amazing book about sunflowers with scientific kid friendly language. Our kits come paired with a book and activities your kids will love. Designed by a teacher these activites will keep you children engaged and build their fine motor and literacy skills all in one!
Sensory kits allow children to explore their senses in a hands on and interactive way! Sensory play builds language skills, mindfulness, muscle development, and imagination. These kits are also a great tool to work on scientific thinking and problem solving. It is screen free play time that your child will enjoy playing with over and over and since they come with a travel bag they are perfect for restaurants, travel, and anywhere in the go.
This kit includes:
• 2 bundles of 5 oz homemade non toxic dough
• 1 zipper storage bag to hold all the contents together
• Assorted loose parts
• Wooded roller
• the book Seed to Sunflower
• over 35 pages of activities
Since this kit comes with loose parts it is suggested for children 3 and older. It is best to store our play dough in air tight containers (like the pouch it comes in) to keep it from drying out. If it does feel to dry then you can always add a teeny bit of water. Also, please keep in mind our kits are a handmade item so each one will vary slightly.
